Summer of Socks!

So!  We're going to ignore my hiatus there.  It happens.  I have 3 kids and it's summer.  Anyways!  I have been loosely participating in the fun that is Summer of Socks.  Which basically means I"m knitting a lot of socks and I'm dying a lot of sock yarn (wait... what?):

I actually finished those up for Father's Day for Matt.  Because nothing says I love and appreciate you more than guy socks knit on size 1 needles.  SERIOUSLY.

I also have been doing something super, super exciting.  I put dye to yarn for the first time in well over a year.  YES.

I"m preparing for a Trunk Show at River Colors in Lakewood on July 26.  I will be there from 11:30 - 3:30 and I'm bringing the pretty:

What size is Matt? I just finished a pair of men's size 11s, and I'm halfway through a pair of men's 9.5...man-size socks take so much longer! lol! But everything looks great, and I am excited that you have started dying again!!! Yay! (and what shawl is that?)

I've only knit DH dk/worsted house socks (2 pairs). Oh, I did knit my dad a pair with Tosh Sock, but fortunately the legs were relatively short for cycling. He wants a 2nd pair and I told him Sport. Convinced him they would be good for cold days. Mom wants a 2nd pair of fingering to wear inside slippers. Glad to hear you are dying again! I'm going to try and make the trunk show, but DH will still be out of town, so we'll see how it goes with 2 yr old DD. (sjn821 on Rav)

This is a nice pair of socks that you have got here and I am really wondering to make one of these for my personal use. It sure is going to be the most comfortable thing to wear.
